Netflix exec gives cryptic response to Meghan Markle casting rumour
Meghan Markle’s possible Netflix role gets vague response

Netflix has given a vague response to ongoing speculation about whether Meghan Markle might join the cast of the crime drama series The Gentlemen.
Earlier this month, reports suggested Meghan was considering a return to acting through a role in the Netflix series. However, some reports later claimed that any potential offer had since been “withdrawn” in the wake of public backlash in the UK.
During a recent industry event, Manda Levin, a Netflix executive, overseeing scripted programming in the UK was asked directly about the rumours, to which she replied, “All bets are off,” without confirming or denying further details.
Earlier reports said Meghan had reportedly been in talks to join the show’s third season, which would continue the storyline introduced in Guy Ritchie’s original film and its television adaptation.
The third season has not yet been officially confirmed, though the second season is set to premiere soon.
Commentary around the potential casting has been mixed, with some entertainment writers questioning whether the show would be the right creative fit for Meghan’s return to acting.
This speculation comes shortly after Meghan and Prince Harry announced plans to relocate back to the UK with their children.
If Meghan were to take on the role, it would mark her first major acting project since stepping away from performing in 2017.
However, she recently made a brief on-screen appearance in an upcoming comedy film Close Personal Friends, marking her first performance in nearly a decade.
