In partnership with Polar Studios, Arden Colectivo, U-ECHO Training Center, CoecytJal and FILMAJALISCO, UdeG is offering a digital animation and special effects course for 40 people
Due to the accelerated growth of the film industry, Taller del Chucho, through the Training Unit, in conjunction with Polar Studios, Arden Colectivo and U-ECHO Training Center (UETC), and in collaboration with the State Council of Science and Technology of Jalisco (CoecytJal) and FILMAJALISCO, open the call for the Training Program of Specialized Talents in Film Post-production for 40 people.
The courses will have two schedules, with a maximum capacity of 20 students each, and will offer training in post-production through practical exercises in the area of editing and color.grade, as well as fundamentals of 3D animation, Motion Graphics and VFX.
The goal is that the specialization will train talents who will collaborate on film projects with Polar Studios, Arden Colectivo, UETC and FILMAJALISCO, and that will increase the production of local projects.
Thanks to the alliance between the University of Guadalajara (UdeG), FILMAJALISCO and CoecytJal, scholarships of 80 percent of the cost of tuition will be provided to the 40 students.
To apply for the course, you need to register at thecallon the social media of Taller del Chucho; be of legal age, have availability of four hours daily, have demonstrable experience in two projects, commit to completing the program and send a portfolio of events.
Registration will remain open until September 30th, to make way for the selection process, which will be carried out by experts in the film field and will be published on October 18thbe discussed: calendar A, November 1st and calendar B, March 18th
Regarding tuition fees, all selected applicants must contribute 20 percent of the total cost, which is ten thousand pesos and can be paid in one or two installments, starting in November.
