Shaping the Future: a short film exploring EU support for young people and education in Armenia

On 8 October, the European Union Delegation to Armenia published a new short film, Shaping the Future: EU for Youth and Education in Armenia, which highlights the various ways in which the EU is creating real opportunities for young people in Armenia.

The film explores how various EU initiatives promote the shared values and goals of the EU and Armenia, while also encouraging young people actively to participate in society. The Youth Advisory Council, launched by the EU Delegation to Armenia in 2025, has over the past year helped to give a stronger voice to the issues that matter most to young people.

The Young European Ambassadors initiative, which recently marked its 10th anniversary, and which now has more than 100 volunteers in Armenia, has been crucial in helping to bring the voices and perspectives of young people from communities from different regions of Armenia.

The film features Vasilis Maragos, the EU Ambassador to Armenia, as well as coordinators and team leaders of various EU projects and initiatives and the young participants of those initiatives.

The short film is available on Youtube.
