From next-generation headphones and high-performance speakers to turntables, professional audio systems and inventive sound technologies, great audio design is about much more than what we hear. It brings together engineering, usability and aesthetics, shaping how people experience sound at home, at work and on the move. The A’ Audio and Sound Equipment Design Award, part of the internationally recognised A’ Design Award & Competition, celebrates designers and brands pushing that field forward.
The 2026—2027 edition welcomes entries from sound equipment designers, independent creative studios, innovative agencies, established manufacturers and forward-thinking companies. It offers an international platform for work that demonstrates excellence in audio product design, recognising ideas that combine technical capability with thoughtful design and practical value.
