Aug. 26 (UPI) — Netflix is teasing its upcoming sequel to Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.
The streaming service shared an official title for the film, The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, alongside a teaser featuring Brad Pitt on Wednesday.
Further Mis-Adventures continues the story of the title character, Cliff Booth (Pitt), first introduced in Once Upon a Time as a stunt double for actor Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) who encounters actress Sharon Tate (Margot Robbie) and Manson family members while living in 1969 Los Angeles.
Quentin Tarantino, who directed Once Upon a Time, wrote Further Mis-Adventures, with David Fincher (Se7en, Fight Club) to direct the sequel.
The teaser shows Cliff driving in his car as he reclines and smokes a cigarette. The film takes place in 1977 in “a very different Hollywood,”

Other cast members will include Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis and Karren Karagulian.
The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth will open in theaters Nov. 24 before starting streaming Dec. 23 on Netflix.
The film will mark Pitt’s first on-screen film role since F1, released in June 2025.
