Sony Pictures has released a brand-new trailer for ‘ALI G: WHO IZ I?,’ bringing Sacha Baron Cohen’s legendary alter ego back to the big screen for an outrageous new adventure.
After twenty years spent “chillin’, tokin’ and bonin’”, Ali G receives a life-changing surprise when he discovers that his long-term girlfriend Julie is eight months pregnant. Suddenly faced with the prospect of another mouth to feed, Ali G decides it is time to get off his batty and reclaim the glory days of his former career.
His quest for a comeback takes him across the Atlantic to America, where his plans for a return to the spotlight quickly become considerably more dangerous. Ali soon finds himself up against adversaries who threaten not only his ambitions, but the very existence of both himself and his unborn child.
‘ALI G: WHO IZ I?’ marks Sacha Baron Cohen’s directorial debut, with Cohen also returning to the role that helped establish one of his most recognisable comic creations. The film stars Sacha Baron Cohen and Morgana Robinson.
