Michael Render, better known as Killer Mike, is an American rapper, activist, and businessman. His new album, “MICHAEL,” is his most personal yet.
To express the core of who he is, Ebro meets up with Killer Mike at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture in Harlem. Killer Mike opens up about getting in touch with his inner nine-year-old and unmasking the superhero that child created. The project expresses several ways the world has affected him on this project, including the experience of growing up and losing his mother and grandmother. Mike also touches on working with André 3000.
Killer Mike also opens up all of his business endeavors, his family life, falling in love, and life in the South. He also reveals that this is not the end of Run The Jewels, and discusses plans for an upcoming tour.
