Curious has welcomed Scott Freeman as senior post production artist, bringing more than 30 years of creative and technical experience to the studio. With a background in retouching and post production, Scott has developed a broad practice spanning photography, CGI, animation, motion design and emerging AI tools. His approach is rooted in a passion for visual storytelling and a belief in using the right combination of craft and technology to bring an idea to life.
Scott brings a considered, collaborative approach to every project, combining his technical knowledge with a strong creative eye and an ongoing curiosity for new ways of working. His ability to move between photography and digitally crafted imagery will add further depth to Curious’ post production offering and open up new creative possibilities across the studio’s work.
“I’d been working on and off with Scott over the last 18 months across various projects, and the more we worked together and got to know each other, the clearer it became that he was most definitely a ‘Curious person’,” said production director Tom Gibson, Curious. “Not only is he a fantastic artist, but he’s always looking to push a brief or a piece of work to be the best it can be, regardless of how big or small the job or client. The conversation about Scott joining Curious came very naturally and, to be honest, almost felt inevitable! We’re really excited to have Scott join the studio and become part of the team. We’re looking forward to creating some great work together.”
