Lnk.Bio has also been around since 2016 and says it now serves more than 1.9 million creators across 215 countries, giving it a significantly longer track record than several newer Linktree competitors.
There is a catch: removing the Lnk.Bio logo from your profile is a paid feature. So while the free version avoids visitor advertising, it isn’t completely white-label.
Best for: Filmmakers who want a straightforward, established Linktree replacement with unlimited links.
2. Lit.bio
Lit.bio is a newer link-in-bio platform built specifically around creators.
Its free plan currently includes up to 10 links, themes, analytics, and a QR code, and Lit.bio explicitly states that the free plan has no ads. It also includes a Linktree importer designed to move your existing bio, profile image, and links across without rebuilding the entire page manually.

An advertisement on a free platform isn’t automatically unreasonable. Free internet services have to pay for hosting, development, and infrastructure somehow.
The more relevant issue is where the advertisement appears.
Linktree’s current experiment can insert an ad after a visitor has already chosen a creator’s link but before they reach the destination.
For a filmmaker promoting a trailer, crowdfunding campaign, festival ticket page, or newly released short film, that additional step sits directly inside the path you are asking your audience to take.
Whether that matters enough to switch platforms is ultimately an individual decision. But filmmakers using a free link-in-bio service should at least know what their audiences may encounter after tapping a link.
