Playhouse Studios unveils new post-production giant
Irish media company Playhouse Studios has acquired Halo Post’s Noel Street facility and its assets to launch Playhouse Post. Currently undergoing a thorough refurbishment scheduled for completion over the summer, the newly formed entity merges the operations of legacy brands Halo Post and LipSync. This consolidated post-production arm will operate under the leadership of CEO Mark Foligno, who previously headed LipSync following its acquisition by Playhouse Studios in 2025.
Foligno stated: “The addition of Halo Post to LipSync represents an important step in the continued growth of our post-production & VFX production arm, Playhouse Post. The team has an outstanding reputation for creative excellence and technical expertise, and together we are building a high-end post-production offering that is equipped to support projects of every scale.”
The integration of Halo and LipSync aligns with the group’s broader strategy to establish one of Europe’s most advanced and versatile production, post-production, and content financing groups. By combining the strengths of both established names, the division plans to provide a comprehensive, high-end service suite spanning picture finishing, sound, VFX, color grading, and online editing. These services will be delivered from facilities equipped with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision, including a flagship 17-seat screening and finishing theater at the Soho location.
As part of the wider Playhouse Studios group, the launch of Playhouse Post represents an ongoing investment in creative infrastructure, aiming to offer partners a fully integrated workflow throughout the entire content lifecycle. Focus Capital Partners Ireland serves as the corporate finance advisor and fundraising partner for the group.
