When does The Hundred 2026 start?
Held under the aegis of the England and Wales Cricket Board, The Hundred 2026 starts on Tuesday, July 21, with the opening day fixtures played at The Kia Oval in London.
The sixth edition of the competition comprises eight teams each in the men’s and women’s tournaments, with all teams participating in league games before the knockouts. The tournament will end with both finals at Lord’s on Sunday, August 16.
The first day of the tournament will see a double-header with MI London up against Sunrisers Leeds across both genders.

The Hundred 2026 format
The Hundred is played in its unique 100-ball format, with 100 balls per innings, and the match is usually completed in about two and a half hours.
Each team plays eight matches in the league stage, four at home and four away. The top two teams in the league advance directly to the finals, while the remaining two teams play in the Eliminator match to reach the final.

What time do The Hundred 2026 matches start?
The Hundred 2026 games will be organised in various slots in the afternoon and evening slots in the UK. Most men’s games will take place at 6:30 p.m. local time (BST), while women’s games generally begin at 3:00 p.m. BST.
Weekend double-headers will have earlier start times, with matches also slated for 11:00 a.m. BST, 11:30 a.m. BST, 2:30 p.m. BST and 6:00 p.m. BST.
