Looking for a new career path in audio? There’s a bunch of exciting opportunities in music tech this month. Have a hand in all the audio decisions on the next Skydance AAA game franchise, ensure the latest version of FL Studio runs smoothly, and take questions from avid synth users with Teenage Engineering.
Legends Only is a label, publisher, and management firm that needs a new intern to help run its studio. Most of the work is supportive, but Legends Only has worked on music from Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, and plenty of other huge artists. So, you’ll see how the most professional sessions in the industry work. You might even see one of those artists recording. This is one internship where “doing it for the exposure” is sure to pay off.
- Salary: Academic Credit
- Location: New York, New York
- Required qualifications: Basic knowledge of at least one professional DAW (Pro Tools preferred; Logic Pro or Ableton acceptable).
- Best for: Aspiring engineers and producers
Skydance is building another AAA single-player story-driven action-adventure game, and the Audio Lead is responsible for every audio-related decision. You will oversee the creation and implementation of elements such as music, sound effects, and voice-overs, working directly with the creators themselves, bringing in outside vendors, and approving all final products. Universal understanding of audio production and recording is essential, and everything must fit within the tone and vision of the game.
- Salary: $125,000 – $165,000
- Location: Los Angeles, CA
- Required qualifications: Demonstrated experience leading audio teams on shipped PC and/or console titles.
- Best for: Comprehensive audio masters
Artist Vanguard is a record label looking for in-house producers to make music and remixes for its artists. The primary styles are electronic, hard dance, pop, and internet-driven music genres, so current dance music chops are essential. Overall, this position requires someone who can take instruction well to supply the sound the artist is looking for. You also need to deliver professional results in a timely, efficient manner. Vocalmixing is especially emphasised.
- Salary: $1,200–$3,000 USD per month
- Location: Remote
- Required qualifications: Unknown
- Best for: Producers who started out as ravers
Unlike many upscale instrument makers, Teenage Engineering has its own brick-and-mortar shop in NYC. Store Operators are the people who answer questions about the products, whether it be someone who wandered in because they were intrigued by the name on the sign, or a professional producer excited to add another synth to their arsenal. Either way, the Store Operator needs excellent customer service skills as well as an in-depth knowledge of the products. Not only is this a foot in the door at a growing music tech company, but many customers will be doing cool things in the industry as well.
- Salary: Unknown
- Location: New York, New York
- Required qualifications: 2-3 years of experience in premium retail, a showroom, gallery, or experiential space
- Best for: Synth nerds
FL Studio just announced its major 2026 update, and so naturally Image-Line needs QA coordinators to ensure everything runs smoothly as millions of producers around the world download the software.
A lot of this job happens in public spaces such as Discord and Reddit, monitoring for reports of bugs and other issues to then be passed on to the programmers and developers. These will also be spaces to find new beta testers for incoming FL Studio and FL Cloud updates. On the back end, you’ll be writing the testing protocols to ensure products are in tip-top shape as they come out.
- Salary: Unknown
- Location: Belgium, UK, Germany. Job is fully remote.
- Required qualifications: 3+ years in Software QA, with at least 1 year in a coordination or lead role
- Best for: FL Studio masters

Well, Advisors Excel helps financial advisors with their long-term business goals, and they run their own podcast to aid in information sharing. While podcasts geared towards financial advisors may not sound like the most exciting gig, this job is still great experience of owning audio projects end to end. The Audio producer will record, edit, and produce complete shows in addition to applying music production and effects.
- Salary: Unknown

- Required qualifications: 1-2+ years of experience in audio production, podcasting, radio, or a related field
