Charli xcx has officially kicked off her new tour!
The 34-year-old singer launched her Music, Fashion, Film Tour on Friday night (September 11) at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Penn.
What Songs Does Charli xcx Perform on Tour?
Charliperformed a career-spanning set featuring songs from her latest album Music, Fashion, Film, her smash album Brat and several fan-favorite tracks from earlier in her career.
The opening night show featured the live debut of “Persona,” while Charlialso brought opening act underscores back to the stage to perform “Do It” together.
Charli xcx Performs “Stay Away” as Surprise Song
Another major surprise came when Charli performed her 2011 debut single “Stay Away.” She later reacted to the performance on social media, writing that performing the song made her “emotional” because she was so young when it was released.
Charli xcx Celebrates With “Vroom Vroom”
Charlialso celebrated the return of longtime fan favorite “Vroom Vroom,” writing after the show, “night 1 on tour and miss vroom is back bb xx.”
According to Setlist.fm, Charliperformed nearly 30 songs during the opening night show.
The tour will next head to Brooklyn, New York for two shows at Barclays Center on September 14 and 15.
