Tyler Perry Studios will be developing a virtual-production-enabled soundstage, Deadline reports.
The virtual soundstage will be built on his 365-acre studio lot in Atlanta. It will be brought to life in partnership with Synapse Virtual Production, which markets itself as the“premier”solution for partnerships across cinema and television onits LinkedIn and uses AI-supported tools.

We are honored to help bring this vision to life alongside Tyler Perry and his incredible team.”
Deadline reports that the incoming soundstage will be transformed to include LED volume technology and real-time digital environments leveraging advanced camera tracking as well as real-time 3D engines.
The soundstage will benefit Tyler Perry Studios by making production more efficient, lowering costs, and providing more creative freedom. The studio says this does not change its commitment to the crew, which will remain“at the center of the process.”

The soundstage is projected to be completed this year.
