Extra Gross Trailer for ‘Crawlers’ Another Scary Spider Horror Movie
“They’re going to gas the building – with us in it!” Ain’t no other way to stop this hoard. Do not click play on this trailer if you’re scared of spiders, it will completely ruin you day! Maybe your whole week! They’re everywhere! Roadside Attractions has unveiled the first trailer for the movie titled Crawlers, another new freaky spider horror movie arriving in theaters this year. There’s also Spider Island out this year, the other French horror Infested (which this seems to be a remake of), the giant spider movie Sting, and a few others in the works. Are spider horror movies becoming the new shark movie? (Hope not – I really hate spiders.) In Crawlers, tenants at Paradiso Palms apartments fight a deadly spider invasion while the cunning building manager might be their only hope for survival. Looks like these little creepies are getting smart this time! Almost like smart zombies. The cast includes Matilda Lutz, Gregg Sulkin, Melina Matthews, William Miller, Chris Rogers, and others. Not only does this film look extremely scary, it’s extra gross, too! Blech.
Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for Ángel Gómez Hernández’s horror movie Crawlers, from YouTube:
In Crawlers, a catastrophic infestation of venomous and deadly spiders sends an apartment building into lockdown. Trapped inside by a police-mandated quarantine, building manager Serena (Matilda Lutz) and her residents battle to survive as the creatures multiply by the second. Armed with her intimate knowledge of the complex, Serena may be the only one who can keep them alive—if she can confront her deepest fear. Crawlers is directed by Spanish genre filmmaker Ángel Gómez Hernández, director of the horror films Don’t Listen and The Boogeyman: The Origin of the Myth, plus tons of other horror shorts (including this Behind). The screenplay is written by Jayson Rothwell. Produced by Brian Crist, Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Alexandra Milchan, Jayson Rothwell, Scott Strauss, Josh Weinstock, Peter Welter Soler. It hasn’t premiered at any festivals or elsewhere, as far as we know. Roadside Attractions & Saban Films will debut Hernández’s Crawlers horror movie in theaters nationwide starting on October 16th, 2026 this fall. Look super scary?
