Thomann More Than Music is a new film by the German musical instrument retailer that tells, through three authentic stories, the profound impact music can have on people’s lives, tackling sensitive topics with an intimate approach far removed from typical advertising clichés.
At a time when AI-generated content is increasingly widespread, Thomann has chosen to focus on real people, sincere emotions and authentic cinematic storytelling, with a tone that at times comes close to that of a documentary.
Made with the contribution of experts, the film shows how music and music therapy can offer concrete support in particularly delicate contexts: from the care of premature babies to supporting people living with dementia, and those facing depression.
More Than Music thus focuses on a dimension of music that goes beyond listening and performance: its ability to accompany people, promote well-being and create connections even in the most difficult situations.
No staged emotions and no conventional advertising formula, but three stories that invite reflection on the human value of music.
The film is available on YouTube. To learn more about the project and go behind the scenes of its production, Thomann also offers a dedicated article and official graphic materials.
