    TRAILERS

Official Trailer for Netflix’s ‘Pride and Prejudice’ Starring Emma Corrin

“She is a very strong-willed sort of girl.” Netflix has revealed the full official trailer for the new adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, turning it into a “mini-series” instead of a movie. Adapted from the novel written by Jane Austen more than 200 years ago (which has already been turned into many films & series before). Hasty first impressions develop into something deeper between Elizabeth Bennet & Mr Darcy in this faithful yet fresh adaptation of the classic love story. Elizabeth Bennet and the wealthy landowner Fitzwilliam Darcy navigate pride and prejudice as obstacles in their complex relationship before finding love & marriage. With Emma Corrin as Elizabeth, Jack Lowden as Mr Darcy, Olivia Colman as Mrs Bennet, Rufus Sewell as Mr Bennet, Freya Mavor as Jane, Jamie Demetriou as Mr Collins, Daryl McCormack as Mr Bingley, Louis Partridge as Mr Wickham, Rhea Norwood as Lydia, Siena Kelly, Fiona Shaw (who’s also in Sense & Sensibility), Hopey Parish & Hollie Avery as Mary and Kitty Bennet. From the pages of Jane Austen’s beloved novel comes a six-part adaptation on love, longing & first impressions. Along with Sense & Sensibility (in theaters now), an exciting year for Jane Austen fans to enjoy delightful adaptations.

Here’s the main official trailer (+ poster) for Netflix’s mini-series Pride and Prejudice, from YouTube:

“Pride and Prejudice is such a timeless story because of the emotions in the book; they are as pertinent now as they were in 1812. Embarrassment of your family, fear that you’re going to get left behind, fear that the world is not going to be a safe place for your children as it was for you, mortification that you judged someone incorrectly or that you had been misjudged. We go to that book to see our hearts reflected in it.” –Writer & Executive Producer Dolly Alderton

You can rewatch the teaser trailer for Netflix’s Pride and Prejudicemini-series right here for the first look.

“It is a truth universally acknowledged…” When wealthy bachelors arrive in their neighbourhood, the five Bennet sisters must navigate love, family, and society’s expectations to secure their futures. Jane falls for the charming Mr. Bingley, meanwhile Elizabeth clashes with his proud friend Mr. Darcy – but unexpected encounters and family scandals force Elizabeth to reconsider her feelings and discover the true nature of love.Pride and Prejudice is a mini-series created and written by Dolly Alderton (creator of “Everything I Know About Love”). Based on the novel by Jane Austen, first published in 1813. The series is directed by Welsh filmmaker Euros Lyn (of Dream Horse, The Radleys, “Heartstopper”, “Wayward”). Produced by Lisa Osborne. Made by Lookout Point for BBC. Executive produced by Laura Lankester, Will Johnston, Louise Mutter, Dolly Alderton, Euros Lyn, & Emma Corrin. Netflix debuts this Pride and Prejudice series streaming on Netflix worldwide starting December 3rd, 2026 late this year. Any good? Excited to watch?
